The James Madison University Health Center strives to provide health care and services that are responsive to your needs and health concerns.  If you feel that staff were not as responsive as you would have liked or wish to provide any type of input, both positive and negative, the patient advocate is here to help.

We also encourage you to discuss your concerns with your clinician, or other appropriate staff.

The Patient Advocate can:

Listen to your concerns and bring your concerns or words of appreciation to the appropriate staff.

Provide you with an explanation of health care policies, procedures and services.

Provide you with information and available choices regarding your medical care.

Assist you in getting you the medical care that you need.

Your comments and suggestions will remain anonymous unless you choose to provide a name and/or email address.

We welcome online correspondence, however, please be aware that the James Madison University Health Center does not make appointments or provide medical advice by e-mail or through this online form.

Please do not send us questions regarding your personal care at UHC or the personal care you are receiving from another health care provider. If you send us a message regarding personal medical care, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE AN ANSWER.
